Reportedly, Easton’s last air date is Thursday, June 27, and the video Easton posted was shot a while ago.

Standing outside the entrance to the set General Hospital in what appears to be the early hours of the morning, Easton shared the following message to his fans: “I’ve always had a fondness for the Irish Wish farewell. That’s where you leave the party without telling anyone you’re gone. But I thought you all deserved better.”

Easton then said, “I just want to let you know that I just filmed my final scenes here. General Hospital. I’ve loved every minute I’ve been here. I would like to thank the entire cast and crew for allowing me to share their stage for the past 10 years. Most importantly, I want to thank you all for the kindness and love you have shown me and my family. I will never forget you.”

In an emotional closing, Michael ended his video message with: “As I walk out here for the last time, and with my apologies to the great Lou Gehrig, I feel like the luckiest man on earth.” Ironically, the former New York Yankees baseball star of Easton’s reference died of ALS (aka “Lou Gehrig’s disease”), which was part of Michael’s recent on-screen storyline with Finn’s dying father, Gregory, who had the disease. the same disease.
