Southern Nevada Health District is offering testing on National HIV Testing Day

National HIV Testing Day 2019National HIV Testing Day 2019 On Thursday, June 27, National HIV Testing Day, the Southern Nevada Health District will provide free HIV testing throughout the region. Asymptomatic individuals are welcome to attend any of the following locations without an appointment: * TRAC-B Exchange: 6114 W. Charleston Boulevard (9:30 AM – 4:30 PM) * Community Counseling Center: 714 E. Sahara Avenue (9 AM – 5 PM) * The Center: 401 S. Maryland Parkway (1 PM – 7 PM) * AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Meow Wolf: 3215 S. Rancho Drive (1 PM – 5 PM) * AIDS Healthcare Foundation: 3201 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 218 (1 PM – 8 PM) * Walgreens: 7599 W. Lake Mead Boulevard (9 AM – 5 PM) * Walgreens: 451 S. Decatur Boulevard (2 PM – 6 PM) * Sexual Health Clinic: 280 S. Decatur Boulevard (8 AM – 4 PM) * Fremont Public Health Center: 2830 E. Fremont Street (1 PM – 5 PM) The health district also offers year-round free HIV/STI screenings at the Sexual Health Clinic and Fremont Public Health Center, as part of its Sexual Health Outreach and Prevention Program (SHOPP). No appointments are necessary, but clients must be asymptomatic.
Health district officials also offer testing for syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia at the Sexual Health Clinic and the Fremont Public Health Center. The same locations also offer free HIV/STI screenings year-round as part of the health district’s Sexual Health Outreach and Prevention Program (SHOPP).
