A 2005 Ford Focus driven by a 25-year-old man from Curwensville was traveling eastbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2008 Ford Edge driven by a 31-year-old woman from Clearfield. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to spin off the roadway. The male driver of the Focus was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clearfield County Coroner. The female driver of the Edge sustained minor injuries and was transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital for treatment.
