India’s Lakshya Sen and Priyanshu Rajawat advanced to the second round of the Indonesia Open Super 1000 badminton tournament on Wednesday, while P.V. Sindhu will open her campaign against Taiwan’s Wen Chi-Hsu.

Lakshya’s Dominant Victory

Sen, the world No. 10, registered a comfortable 21-13, 21-16 win over France’s Lucas Corvee in the first round. He dominated the match from start to finish, controlling the tempo and dictating the rallies.

Priyanshu’s Upset

Unseeded Priyanshu caused an upset by defeating world No. 25 Brice Leverdez of France 21-18, 18-21, 21-17. The Indian shuttler showed great determination and perseverance, especially in the deciding game, where he came from behind to clinch the victory.

Sindhu’s First Match
