In contrast, a minority (46) are considered healthy, comprising supermarkets, greengrocers, butchers, fishmongers, and sandwich/sushi bars. This analysis highlights the need for greater accessibility to healthy food options within Shellharbour. The prevalence of unhealthy eateries suggests that residents face challenges in maintaining a balanced diet. It is crucial for policymakers and community stakeholders to prioritize the promotion of healthy food choices through various initiatives such as encouraging the establishment of more healthy eateries, implementing healthy food policies in schools and workplaces, and conducting public awareness campaigns.
